Early March marks the end of pruning and the vibrant bloom of mustard. Heavy rainstorms can swell the Napa River, occasionally flooding a corner of the property. This seasonal spectacle invites an array of wildlife—egrets, ducks, herons, countless frogs, and even the occasional otter—bringing a lively energy to the vineyard despite the still sleeping vines.
